Making more of video post is one of my future goal. Take better photography has been always my purpose. And now there’s new option in the middle; Time-lapse video.

Recently, I had a change to get involved with a photo project – that’s what we called, turned out to be an awesome time lapse video. Stephen (@bohemiantrav ) from bohemiantraveler.com came up with an idea of document one day in Bangkok and put together in one video, including his big hair cut moment. I participated as a steady hand photographer, 2 minute-model, mp3 format transformer, and Picasa semi-pro.

Not just because I involved in the project.. the reason why I think this is a great time-lapse video is because it’s really active and live. It’s not ‘Whoa!’ amazing but it is fun!

# Statistics : total 939 photos in about 3 minutes

# Scenes including :

-Move around using various transportations – taxi, sky train..

-Several meals out-yes we ate a lot and you can see we completely emptied them all.

-The biggest moment, Stephen got his haircut (after three years, quote) by Thai hair stylist. It was little bit nerve-breaking as a girl who had some bad encounters with incompetent hairstylists, but this turned out well!

-Chinatown street vendors, ice coffee and people.

-Shopping spree in the famous Chatuchak market.

-Boat ride to Wat Arun that locked us out but it was good enough to see the temple.

-The best part.. all the fun.

More than words, right? Just like the song.

Enjoy!! And let me know what you think about this project!

#Special thanks to Stephen, came up with a fun idea and included me in the process.

    1. Thanks. We had more fun during the day, walking around. It’s really a vivid city. A lot to capture. Glad you enjoyed it!

    1. Thanks Megan!! 🙂 Yes, it’s a nice journal, isn’t it? Eventhough I like handwriting journal.. 🙂 We enjoyed while making it as well. Would love to do it again sometime soon.

    1. You liked our locked out time? 🙂 It was a dramatic and perfect ending that we didn’t mean to. Glad you enjoyed it!

  1. First of all, this is SOOOOO cool! Love the music and the activities. You guys accomplished a lot on a brief trip. Favorite moments: the haircut (of course), shopping at the market (with a brief glimpse of semi-nudity!) and the temple at night (cute cat).

    1. Music was Stephen’s found, and it fits perfectly! Thanks Leslie. Glad you enjoyed it! You’ve noticed the semi-nudity? that’s so funny! He bought some shirts from the market. 🙂 The temple was a great ending of the project I think. I would love to do it again!

  2. Wow I like that a lot! hehe V. Fun. Great pace and Music. I great way to show the experience. Those were cute tops in the market! Also Do many men in Thailand have mustaches? or was that requested? I am also a big fan of getting my hair cut in different countries. Especially when you can barely give any direction. I suppose with a males haircut it might be a little less risky. Haha v. Cool. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

  3. I love this!

I really like the candid smiles you guys had – you can tell you were enjoying yourselves. I want to see more of these!

    1. Thanks Erica! I liked what you said ‘candid smiles’. So true! The product itself is awesome but its more awesome because we had a lot of fun! 🙂
