Happy Lunar New Year!

Happy Lunar New Year!

Happy New Year everyone!

Today is the New Year’s eve according to the lunar calendar. It’s a long-standing tradition to celebrate important holidays based on cycles of lunar phases. So tomorrow, in Korea and may other countries will be celebrating the ‘real’ new year.

For us who are celebrating lunar new year, more commonly known as Chinese New Year, this feels more like a real new year. This is the real deal. Maybe because it gives us a little bit of buffer after the solar New Year.

We will be preparing the ceremonial food all day today, for the New Year’s day morning ceremony to our ancestors.

So, have a happy New Year everyone!

Here is ‘How Chinese people celebrates Chinese New Year’.
