“Drink Coffee! Do stupid things faster with more energy.”

I know I love coffee for a lot of reasons but didn’t know this one yet. How educational, the sign is.

Graphic represents a lot of messages at once. That’s why the billboard advertising is so effective.

I’ve notices lots of humorous signs here and there while traveling the US. Here are some of the signs that I like so much.

America, you are funny!

Dear Lord… very sincere message to God.

Go Nuts!!

How to put your life in a danger. You’ll get ‘x’.

I’m not sure she loves her cat or not.

Share the road!

Another sincere message to God. I think we all need to remember that sometimes.

Duck X-ing! Personally, I like Turtle X-ing is the cutest.

Don’t text, just drive.

Doctor’s order. Yes doctor, right away!

I thought… this is pretty obvious without saying ‘drug free’.

Another way to how to put your life in a danger at a river.

Clear sign of what will happen in a bike accident.

Only ‘almost’ heaven. She’s an honest vendor.

You are safe, it’s okay.

25MPH is pretty fast for a running man, don’t you think?

Enjoying my journey in the US?

  1. haha…Great.

I loved all the weird signs while I was living in Taiwan, then when I passed back through the U.S. I realized how many funny/weird signs there were there.

    Thanks for posting this!

  2. Ah, the t-shirts with silly sayings. I’m glad it is amusing to you as a visitor because I find it embarrassing 🙂

I love road signs in other countries. You found some good ones indicating “danger.”

  3. I guess I never noticed how funny these signs were growing up around them. Although some, like duck crossing, are definitely not typical. And looks like you’ve found some funny t-shirts…We could make a t-shirt: Dear Lord, If you can’t make my travel blog popular, please make my friend’s travel blogs unpopular. 🙂

    1. Glad I could capture these. Fresh eyes help me to keep my sense of humor!
Oh and please make me an exception when you pray to Lord?! Please don’t take my popularity away from me! 😀

  4. Hilarious! We are a bizarre culture, that’s for sure! I was in Beijing a few years ago, and my friend and I took tons of pics of the road signs b/c they were all happy little cartoon people giving driving instruction. It was so funny to us!

I love the river warning. I guess the x on his head means he’s dead!

  5. I remember running through a neighborhood with my high school cross-country team and we came across a sign that said “slow children at play.” My cross-country coach wanted to know where the fast ones were playing.

  6. I love the spoiled rotten cat sign~!! =) One funny sign I came across was at the Cham Village by the Mekong River in Vietnam… it was a warning not to buy bread and sweets from the local children because the merchandise are all disgusting and expired! Ugh! Well, I suppose it is not funny for those who read the sign AFTER buying from those kids! =p

  7. Hehe, I particularly like the river safety ones. They remind me (a little) of the signs you’d see around mountains and parks in South Korea. There’s a really hilarious series of them at Wulchasan in the south.

  8. Juno, you know I have a soft spot in my hear for funny signs and I love these! Can’t say I’ve ever seen any depicting water dangers with x’s for eyes in such a cartoony manner! Sadly, some of those signs are all too common in our cities. Nice to see that you get a kick out of it!
