Flying over Iceland

There’s a reason why I visited Iceland two times within one year, when I don’t live anywhere near Europe. I showed my affection to Iceland more than enough times. Hotdog and coke are not the only reasons why Iceland attracts me. This little island at 66deg made me felt like I was in a totally different world. Any place remotely similar was volcanic area of New Zealand. The black and brown, deep green and blue are almost surreal. My camera was, and I was very happy to be in Iceland.

During my second time visiting the island, I found out this little island is spectacular not only in land, but also up in the air. As we are slowing approaching the island, I could see the dark black sand beach and thick blanket of clouds. Occasional smoke from the natural hot spring, small and craters with snowy cap, and light gray molecule of water were making mysterious atmosphere. I felt like we were entering a whole another world, like opening the door to Narnia.
Here are some photos from the short airplane trip over Iceland. I’m saying once again, Iceland is amazing.
