To all my Muslim friends, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2014!

 

Next week, 28-29 July is a Muslim holiday Hari Raya Aidilfitri, The Festival of the Breaking of the Fast. Hari Raya literally means ‘celebration day’, and Hari Raya Aidilfitri is the day that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of dawn-to-sunset fasting. Thanks for the great timing, a lot of people here stared their long weekend this weekend.
This month was the Ramadan month, I experienced the festivity in the bazaar near my apartment. I’m glad to witness this big event in Sabah, Malaysia. Hope everyone is having a great time with friends and family. Let’s eat, eat, eat!
