First stop, on HK art Guide to Mardi Gras. The first time I’ve heard about Mardi Gras was when we played “Apple-to-Apple” in a hostel in Taipei. We were just hanging out and decided to play some boardgames. Apparently Apple-to-Apple is a classic American board game which I had no idea. One card said Mardi Gras and I had no idea what that was either. Most of members were Americans and they explained it to me but I sort of got it but not really. So my good friend Meaghan explained it for me through her blog which is really cool art+food+travel blog. Thanks Meaghan!

Second stop, on Jack and Jill travel, Poi and Kirsty from No Place To be — Meet A Traveling Couple. Reading stories about travel as a couple is interesting. Like I said on the comment on the article, the best value for me as a couple is to be a best friend. Can be honest to each other and tell everything. Of course it is important to be a couple in normal condition and I think it could also  very valuable as a couple traveler. This interview reminds me of that once again.

Third stop, on Migrationology, Addicted to Durian – I Found the Cure in Zanzibar! The first time I smelled Durian… I thought something was about to explore. I wasn’t close to it I was a half way across the market. It smell.. little bit like gas and something really serious. Taste was not bad at all but just its look, and smell that are intimidating. Story about how he found his lovable Durian is joyful. It happens during travel. It could be anything. Happy for you Mark! 🙂

Fourth stop, on Bohemian Traveler, Crazy about Kimchi. Kimchi is one of the most unique cuisine of Korea. It’s famous and all but it’s not everyone’s favourite. Because of its unique taste, I assume. Many countries have sort of similar to Kimchi like Stephen mentioned, so it’s not totally new to the world but still it can be pain to eat it. In this post, you could learn most things about Kimchi. Really through research. One time, I read one article about how ridiculous Koreans are because they believe Kimchi helps reduce cancer cells. Nothing’s wrong with believe in local cuisine is healthy for them. So no more judging.

Fifth stop, on Fevered Mutterings, Can We Really Be Friends? I guess many of us, bloggers thought about this subject. Many of people consider us as a ‘friend’ but it is totally depending on what you think and where the line would be. As for me, I consider emotional connection is more important than physical proximity. If you can’t feel any attachment to a person, it’s useless if you can meet them every single day. The meaning of friendship and relationship is changing due to rapid development of world wide web. And like he said, people has been doing virtual relationship for hundreds years.

There you have it, The RSS of the week. Enjoy!
