It is not only used in royals but also the people.

It means well being, live long, happily ever after, and many other spiritual meanings.

Yes this is a comb but is has special purpose. That is very fine so it could get lice out of the hair. In the old days lice in hair is quite common. (According to people) So moms usually brush their kids hair with this. Of course it is used for just brush hair. These Chambit makers are designated as intangible cultural asset. Damyang is famous for Chambit.
