One year blog-versary of Runaway Juno

Last year today, Runaway Juno officially stepped into the world of travel blog.

The reason why was simple, I wanted to store my memories and share it with others. From my very first backpacking to countless homeland travels.. It was too good to hold in, then I found the world of travel blog. That was it. So many hours with WordPress and GoDaddy services.. up all night, studying and figuring out. Long and long hours later.. voila! It happens.

I can’t believe it has been a whole year.

How am I doing so far? I put a lot of effort in it. Tried to be a better story teller, and tried to be a better English-user. But still feel like I had to and have to do more. And, I’m planning to.

First of all, and most importantly, I thank you all. You know how people say travel blogger’s group is really supportive. And that’s 100% true. All the visits, comments, good words and be there for me. I really appreciate it.

Statistic says Runaway Juno has over 120,000 visitors and 203,000 reads since it opens up. Visitors per month is going up every month and even I got some regular visitors. These are numbers and things I didn’t even expect. I was not sure I was capable of doing all this.

I had goods and bads with all of you. My highest joyful moments and not so great phases are all here. Breathing with me. It’s a such an honor to share this with all these people who are extremely supportive and understanding.

Clearly I still have a long way to go because I have a dream. Yes, I’m a girl with dreams! Hope I can celebrate with joy in exactly one year later.

It’s tradition in Korea to make a whole pile of rice cake(red bean-covered type) and serve it to everyone who I’m thankful for but since the geometrical technicality we have.. this is at least I can do.

Enjoy! It taste so much better with brown sugar.

Thank you all again. Thanks for recognizing me, reading me and visit me.

Hope you have a great ‘Runaway Juno 1-year blog-versary’ day!!
