The coastal resort areas of Spain are the most popular choice for a holiday with kids. This would include destinations such as Benidorm, Costa del Sol, and Marbella. These tourist destinations all have accommodation especially created for families, and these can be a good choice because it means your kids are going to have other children to play with. Cities like Madrid and Barcelona can also be surprisingly family-friendly, and there is going to be so much to see and do in these destinations. Retiro Park in Madrid is a fun place for kids because there is always something going on such as street-theatre, puppet shows, and live music. There is also plenty of open space for playing or to have a picnic. Some of the most interesting options for children visiting Barcelona would be Tibidabo Amusement Park and Barcelona Aquarium.

 

Spanish Islands for Kids

The Canary Islands have some of the best beaches on the planet, and there is also lots of other wonderful attractions around these islands. One of the activities available here that most kids are going to love is seeing the dolphins in their natural habitat – this type of experience can be arranged from any tourist area on the islands. Some of the best beaches for kids would include Playa del Ingles (Gran Canaria), Corralejo (Fuerteventura), and Las Teresitas (Tenerife).

The Balearic Islands include Ibiza, Majorca, Formentera, and Minorca. Majorca can be one of the best options for a holiday with kids because there are plenty of amusement parks, aquariums, and nature parks. Minorca has a good selection of family resorts, and there are a number of kid’s parks around the island.
