How do I change a normal Church into a special one?

This one here is a Church of the Good Shephard in Lake Tekapo, New Zealand.

It  is a one of a kind spot in Lake Tekapo.

I dropped by here before I went to the hostel. A church was just a church, to me. But along with great view it looks very good to visitors.

Church of the Good Shepherd.

I met a guy who was really into photography as much as I am. He wanted to learn how to take astronomy photography so we took a walk at night to the church for get a great shot. We did take constellation pictures and long exposures and then… we flashed! Not with camera, with brain.

We had lanterns with us, so we thought it would be so much fun doing a long exposure shot if we were in it.

Want to know what we did? Set the camera on the tripod, and as soon as we pushed the button on the camera, we took a fast step toward to the church with lanterns on, and drew a shape of church when we got there.

Don’t follow? Then just watch the photo we took.

Can you see the chimney and everything, right? It was such an awesome memory.

Certainly deserves to be on my Travel Photo of the Week section! Don’t you think?
