Somewhere Over the Rainbows

The Rainbow!

Logically, I know the theory behind. It’s a combination of  optical and meteorological phenomenon. It’s simple. However, my science part of brain doesn’t function when I face rainbow; it’s just magical. Creating rainbow isn’t even difficult. All you have to do is just spray water against the sunlight. But still, this giant seven coloured ring in the sky, is a jaw dropping beautiful.

It was the third time back to Philadelphia. One time for each month: July, August, and September. Stephen and I were waiting for Michael after hopping through Worcester, MA, Middletown, CT and NYC. Sun was slowly going down in dramatically wild late summer sky. The moment I turn my head around from the sun, there it was, the perfect rainbow.

“Somewhere over the rainbow…”

I was totally stunned. This was the most perfect rainbow, as far as I remember. The building, the tree, the sky, the moment, and the happiness, everything was just right.

With the setting sun, the rainbow split into and double the happiness. The scene I remember is much prettier than this photo I took, but I think it gives you an idea how great it was.

I think, Philadelphia loves me.
