During our Road Trip USA 2012, we drove 6,141 miles (9,883 kilometers) and passed thirteen states. I was trying to get all of the state signs, since, you know I’m a fan of the signs. Each state has really unique expression of their character. Some were really boring; I don’t know it’s the state or just we crossed too small of the road. Though, I enjoyed the project to get all the photos. Only one I missed was Missouri. Technically we weren’t really traveling to the state; just passed through the little tale near Arkansas.
One of our friend asked us ‘why do you have to take a picture?’, meaning I can get the sign from internet if I want. Well, I don’t think it’s the same. These are just everyday state signs for some people, but these were the moment of memory for me. Maybe just me.
“What about you? Do you take pictures of the state sign when you drive?”
Here are twelve state signs of thirteen states I’ve been this summer. Only Missouri is missing. Which one is your favourite?

These two people were remarkable! What an idea! According to our friend, that is now a trend; taking picture with the state sign with an old chair. They were driving a pickup truck. Make sense.

Mississippi
