Runaway Photos: Best of Rome, Italy

The Arch of Constantine in Rome, Italy

Best of Rome in Photos

Be careful, the bench you are sitting on right now is possibly 2,000 years old. Close your eyes and imagine, the exact place you are standing, used to be the strongest and most powerful civilization in the entire world. There are many reasons to include Rome in your Europe tour itinerary, and probably the history would be the biggest one. To see 2,000 year old architecture, the idea fascinated me. Art, architecture, history, ruins, language and food… for five days in Rome, I was wowed everyday.

From Colosseum to Campo dei Fiori (food market), from pizza to gelato, Rome became one of the most important destinations in my Runaway Europe trip, it’s not hard to see why from the photos below.

These are gorgeous photos! Oh the fresh cheese – I tried a fresh buffalo mozzarella cheese in Rome that literally changed my life. I’m ruined for all other cheeses.

Amazing! Rome was great. It’s a magnificent place. I felt like I was in the empire, rather than a city. You’ll have a wonderful time! Can’t wait to hear all about it!
