Runaway Photo: Bukit China of Malacca, Malaysia

Malacca is a peaceful little town in southern Malaysia. It was a great destination between two big cities; Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. The best ways to look around Malacca are bike ride and walk. One day, my friend Jenny and I went a long walk to Bukit China.

Bukit China, Chinese hill in direct translation, is a historic hill side of town of Malacca from Ming dynasty. It is a 250,000 square metres of barrial ground with over 12,000 graves and in fact, it is the largest Chinese graveyard outside China. Bukit China was a gift from sultan to princess Hang Li Po when they got married.

This hill offers majestic view of Malacca. Considering include walking around Bukit China in your itinerary when you are in Malacca.
