Runaway Juno is back online!
BKK was quite generous about WiFi but the second place we stayed wasn’t allow us to use it as free, so I ditched my laptop for few days. But I’m back online!
#How was Bangkok, you might ask. Look at the photo! That I took in Khao San Rd, the famous backpacker’s ghetto.
No.. actually that’s not my impression or well explained photo of my Bangkok time. I put it there because it’s a hilarious. Sorry, I didn’t have any bucket cocktails or f**king good beer! All we had was LEO and Chang..
#I sure had a lot of food. Cheap-delicious-oh-it-is-everywhere Food. Last night in BKK, I think, we had like four different dinners. We walked a lot but didn’t expect to have four different meals. And didn’t even realize how many dishes we had until the next day. Well, it’s easy thing to do in BKK, apparently.
Pineapple, papaya, mango and banana! Nice and strong ice & hot coffee, and fruit juice. 10Baht orange juice, I miss you already! Wow, sounds like all I did was eating! You’ll understand if you’ve been there or when you see BKK. A lame excuse?
#I liked the weather. Some days were too humid but generally, I liked to wear light clothes-Cambodia pants- and sandals. Felt good to sweat since I had such a long winter-and it’s still so cold, can you believe it? Actually I got to wear three different sandals! How fancy of me. Well, not because I’m fancy.. it’s a long story. Please tune in for the update!
#I travelled with a great companion. I sure got a lot of help too (Thank you!), and great to share the joy of wandering. I think that’s the best part even more than all the food. ‘People’ is always the best part of travel and specially true in this case. We got lost, talked to locals and took photos with them, went to major travel-stuff-shopping, shared the large LEO and even did some touristy stuff. I’m very grateful for all the happiness and excitement!
Okay… Bangkok update, coming up!

Welcome back Juno, as much as I’m not a city lover I have to say Bangkok is an amazing place!
Looking forward to hear the three sandals story
Happy travels,
Stefano

BKK was amazing. Updates are coming up!
Welcome back, did you bring me a bucket or a cocktail? I loved BKK and hope to get back soon, the street food, the temples and river ( it was flooded last time I was there ) the crazy malls and yes even that oft bad mouthed backpackers ghetto…love it all!

haha Joshy!
I think those buckets are deadly serious. I can’t wait to go back to Thailand and more of BKK as well. It’s a beautiful country, food is insanely good, and great culture. Flooded river and temples.. wow that must be wild!! Are you planning to go back someday? Part of Kao San Rd. I liked. It was a great time!!
I’m so glad you’re enjoying Bangkok, Juno.
It’s a place I’ve always wanted to go.

Yes I really did. Thanks Ceri!
It was short but was great. I’m not really a city person anyways, the short break was kind of perfect.
